Arrival

By God's grace and mercy we have arrived in our new state. The BIG move being behind us now - just as we slowly moved into our new home, we are slowly moving out of our old one. The majority is now done, but loose ends will need to be tied up and please keep praying the house sells. I know it will in God's time, He has the family He wants in it already picked out. The market is NOT a good one, but what is that to our God.

I am thankful to be here. I know God has prepared us for this time and this new season in our lives. I am extremely thankful that my children are doing so well - I see them thriving already - not that they were in any distress of any type before we moved, but as a parent, a widowed parent you want to make sure you are in God's will. This move was for our children. They are my priority after God now.

The two youngest boys right now are out fishing in our pond - faithful dog resting on the green, grassy bank keeping a watchful eye. They have caught blue gill and bass out of it thus far, sightings of turtles, frogs and fish eggs extend the daily adventures out there. All of the children have also discovered a small, craggy waterfall along the stream going through the property God has given us for now to call home. My sweet prince would love the sight, watching them fish! Makes me smile to think of that.

Please continue to lift us up as we transition into our lives here. We are surrounded by a sincere community that continues to welcome us with their help, smiles, conversations and fellowship. We have had a few neighbors stop in and introduce themselves - meals brought over, banana bread, a special soccer ball (will try to post the website soon) and just general waves of greetings as people go down our gravel road.
