Family day

We live in a small community with access to a larger city via a 40 minute drive. We have a running list for things that we need from there so that we only venture out maybe once a month if we can help it ;)

Today was the day we did our errands, packed a lunch, packed the kids, list in hand and headed out. We went to Target, Sam's club, World Market, Office Depot, stopped in at a church cafe that a family friend is director of to say hello, get a hug from her and of course to let O'Deller go potty! We drew all kinds of stares while we packed our 15 passenger van with our necessities and Praise the Lord we held the impulse buys down to Jif Pnut butter and Flavor Ice Popsicles ♥

We enjoyed munching on our pb&j's, carrot stix and frosted cookies - we listened to silly sounds, silly smells, songs, giggles, chatter, a dirty diaper was changed, had discussion on what comes out of our mouths is a reflection of our hearts - I am so thankful for these moments, these precious hours with my children - whom God has given me to raise the rest of the way on my own, that is a TREMENDOUSLY, overwhelming FEELING sometimes - but I have to remember that is just an EMOTION and that all I need God has already GIVEN me......I need not have fear.......so I will do it on my knees, striving to put Him first and to encourage them to do the same. I have a full heart and am grateful. To God be the Glory ♥
