Standing in Jesus is the only way to remain standing through trials and joys of this life - we sang this at a bluegrass festival about 5 years ago as a family and it is on my ipod - listened to it today as I was walking and wanted to share. I have been reflecting on what it is to remain in Him - He tells us in John that if we remain in Him - He will remain in us - to remain is to stay - and that brought my mind to standing firm on the foundation of Christ that has been built up in us.

I was blessed by the opportunity to listen to a speaker last week by the name of Mark Cahill and he reminded his audience that Christian music is okay as long as it is directed to God - if you can sing the same song to your boyfriend or girlfriend it is not going to glorify God - there is a lot of music out there, even in hymnals that directs your attention and love to anyone - "insert name" and that is not what God wants - He wants all of us - Remember the first commandment?
