Throughout all our lives, so strong and so bold.
Belief without question, the faith is unshaken.
Trusting in thee, without hesitation.
Along with the coming of age is a doubt.
Both the nature of God, and what He’s about.
As doubt descends deeper and down to the heart.
We struggle to keep, what should never depart.
God became man to answer this question.
To end, once for all this dreaded contention.
For all who would come from far and from near.
He gave the great blessing to see and to hear.
Between then and the time that Christ reappears,
We live by a faith which more clearly does hear.
For he sent us the Spirit who does for us see.
And to give us this gift so wondrously free.
The faith of a child forever to be.
The faith of a child Salvation to see.

this is one of my favorites of my dear hubby's poems.......children are so wonderfully bold and simple in their belief.....we adults seem to cloud it for them or for ourselves. we have to be so cautious not to make our despairs or bitterness our children's. we will be held responsible for that if we do. I know our youngest has such a clarity of simple spirit when it comes to loving people and showing his love for Jesus.....may I daily learn from him ♥
