So many the words, without any depth
Which keep us straying and stumbling to death.
No mind can contain or improve the refrain
What God, in His wisdom has fully explained.
Yet still, in the pit of my soul, I must wonder
How words come so quickly, as lightning and thunder.
Sometimes those things, which trouble us most
Not knowing God’s purpose we seemingly coast.
Some, in a time, and briefly aware
I see, but a glimpse, of the deep and the rare.
It’s then in that moment, that I hear the faint whisper
And translate from Him, the sounds onto paper.
The truth does not lie with one so enabled,
But issues from God, who alone, makes it stable.
Aside from this knowledge, pride will prevail and the
Message of God, returns to the veil.
To whom much has been given, much is required.
Considered a warning, to never grow proud.
And finally to lose true life in a shroud.

He wrote this poem about his gift to write them.....they came so easily to him the last few years and he was just not sure what to do WITH them in a way honoring God.....now WE here left know the WHY, at least part of the why and are thankful God gave him such a gift as we treasure his words.
